Celebrating National Donut Day with The Holy Donut

It's National Donut Day!

As a New Englander, Dunkin' Donuts means a lot to most people. But as a Mainer, The Holy Donut means even more! The southern Maine Donut shops is well known, and loved, for their handmade donuts made with Maine potatoes and wholesome ingredients.

After opening the first Holy Donut location in Portland on Park Avenue in 2012, and the second on Exchange Street a year later, the first Scarborough location opened its doors just this past March! The new Scarborough location is spacious and has lots of seating, a drive-thru, and very friendly staff!

Each morning, The Holy Donut offers approximately 20 different, rotating flavors. Their creative flavors range include Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, Pomegranate, Chai Glazed, Maple Bacon, and more. But since these delicious donuts are made daily, they do sell out! For the best flavor choices, be sure to go before noon.

"We want everyone to know that donuts can be wholesome and made with healthy ingredients, and still be intensely pleasurable and delicious! Donuts and life are meant to be enjoyed!"
